a place on the internet for standup comedy
We aggregate events, while making little profile pages for clubs and comedians.
I’ve started on US clubs, but it’s easy enough to add places abroad. Suggestions and requests are very welcome.
The basics
We collect three main things: comedians, venues, and events. Each comedian has their own profile page where we list all their links, specials, events, books, and so on. For the venues… these are mostly just clubs right now and we list the basic business information alongside their events. I’m hoping comedians and clubs will claim their page and fans will contribute to updated lists of specials and whatnot.
I’m dreaming of a place where we have great lists of specials, books, and albums. Alongside, a site where we can browse events for our favorite comedians without using ticketing sites as a sorry excuse of a middle man.
What this is not
This is not and will never be a ticket reseller. laugh.town will drive traffic to wherever clubs and comedians sell their tickets on their own sites. I love comedian and club websites and want to promote them, not hoard traffic as other platforms love to do.
A site that will ever host or promote clips. On laugh.town we value longform.

Hi! My name is Tyler. I love standup comedy and make a bunch of websites. This project is my passion project where I get to try weird web ideas and help comedy as a space in general.
Where does the data come from?
Show listings are found from crawling comedy club websites and aggregated here. If you notice missing or incorrect information, let me know. Claiming profiles and pages will help keep that data accurate, then for events there will be tools soon for how to self publish straight to laugh.town.
If you’d like to be removed from laugh.town, that’s weird, but just shoot me an email and I’ll take you off the site.
