Remember when you were the star of your small town after wrapping 3 sold out performances of a hip-hop reimagining of Oklahoma? This comedy show is like the part after; when everyone in the Drama Club snuck a handle of vodka down to Kyle's mom's basement for the craziest event of the year - The Cast Party. Cast Party is the brain child of Jamie Shriner, or what would happen if Bo Burnham and Jenna Marbles were cryogenically frozen together in a pair of cat lady glasses. Electric original songs, dance rehearsal, and anonymous theatre stories from the audience interlude a lineup of ONLY main characters. Ms. Creed will be teasing next year's musical - I heard we might FINALLY be doing something Sondheim. Also, Kyle's mom said no massage trains. Featuring: Jamie Shriner (Comedy Dynamics, LMAOF) Skyler Higley (WGA-award winner, JFL, Conan, The Onion, Don't Tell) Jared Goldstein (JFL, NIKKI FRESH, Comedy Central, Don't Tell) Grace Bahler (Reductress, Netflix is A Joke) with musical accompaniment by Greg Hoffman Produced by: Jamie Shriner & Dani Gallegos About the Artists: JAMIE SHRINER Jamie Shriner is a comedian who began her career in Chicago, IL. A former theatre kid, and current queer, deaf, & mentally ill gig-worker, Jamie uses humorous, original songs to discuss her hearing loss and mental illness alongside her struggles with body image, dating, womanhood, and being queer in her home state of Indiana. Jamie was named Best of the Fest at Laugh After Dark & Big Pine Comedy Festival and is a former Features Contributor for The Onion. @jamieshrinersings on IG SKYLER HIGLEY Skyler Higley is a stand-up comedian, WGA-award winning writer, and actor who comes out of Chicago's legendary comedy scene. Skyler’s razor-sharp writing has been honed from contributing positions at ClickHole and the New Yorker, as well as staff writing gigs at The Onion and CONAN. Skyler was named one of New York Comedy Festival's 'Comics To Watch' in 2019, and was one of the Just For Laughs Festival’s New Faces in 2022, bringing a comedic style described by his former boss Conan O'Brien as 'delightfully bizarre and undeniably hilarious.' @skyler_higley on X JARED GOLDSTEIN Jared was most recently a 2022 Just for Laughs New Face and one of Vulture’s Comedians You Should and Will Know. He can currently be seen on Roku’s NIKKI FRE$H, starring opposite Nicole Richie, as well as appearing in season 2 of DOLLFACE on Hulu and the final season of THE UNICORN on CBS. Jared’s standup premiered in this past group of Comedy Central's FEATURING, and in 2019 he was chosen as one of New York Comedy Festival Comics to Watch as well as Time Out’s Comedians to Watch. She came up in Chicago, where she graduated Second City's Conservatory and found a home within the standup scene.
