More about this event: This Halloween, Laugh Out Lounge is combining a full night of stand-up comedy with a costume contest where looking ridiculous could actually pay off! First, sit back and enjoy a full comedy show headlined by the hilariously twisted Dick Ruse. Then, when the comedy ends, it’s time for the costumes to take center stage. Anyone who wants to compete will be invited up to show off their Halloween creation in front of Dick and the crowd. If Dick likes what he sees, you might move on to the next round. If he doesn’t... well, you just volunteered to stand on stage in a costume in front of a professional comedian. You might get roasted. At the end of the night, Dick Ruse himself will crown the Best Costume, and the winner takes home our Ghastly Gift Bag — a $150 value! About Dick Ruse Tampa Bay comedian and tattoo artist Dick Ruse brings an unconventional, irreverent style of stand-up that's taken him from comedy clubs and colleges to dive bars and tattoo conventions across the country. His comedy writing has been featured by Funny or Die through his contributions to the viral Zebra Corner videos, and he's a Roast Battle winner at the world-famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles. He's also headlined the Portland Comedy Festival and shared the stage with Brad Williams, Big Jay Oakerson, Jim Florentine and others. Crude, clever and refreshingly unpredictable, Dick is exactly the kind of person you probably shouldn't give control of a Halloween costume contest to — which is precisely why we did it. Event Details: Date: Friday and Saturday October 30th & 31st Showtime: 8pm Doors: 7pm Tickets: $20 in advance (we absord the fees) or $25 at the door (plus tax) Restrictions: All sales are final. No refunds. No exchanges. Must be 21+ to enter. Seating: We have moved to an open seating chart. All seats are general admission. We seat your party as you arrive from front of the room towards the back. VIP seating is available for special evnts only. DON'T BE LATE! Any unclaimed seats will be reassigned to walk ups at show time. Two item minimum per person. Alcohol, chips, soda, and merchandise count toward minimum. Bottled water does not count towards minimum. An additional charge of $10 will be applied to your tab for each person who does not meet the two item requirement. Must present confirmation email or QR code the night of the show for admission.
