improv4humans is a comedy podcast from one of the founders of modern improv, Matt Besser. Together with longtime producer and engineer Brett Morris, i4h is dedicated to presenting the very best in improvised comedy, supporting performers, and teaching the craft to the next generation. Besser is a founding member of the groundbreaking sketch group and Comedy Central series The Upright Citizens Brigade, and co-founder of the world-renowned UCB Theatre and training center — which has launched the careers of countless household names in comedy. He also co-authored The Upright Citizens Brigade Comedy Improv Manual , the definitive book on long-form improv. As one of the original Earwolf podcasts, improv4humans began as Besser’s experiment in bringing the best talent from the stage to the “theater of the mind.” Over the years, the show has consistently pushed boundaries, found inspiration in the unlikeliest places, and introduced future comedy stars to listeners alongside the most venerated names in improv — and features some of the best captured musical performances in all of podcasting.
