This free evening brings together acclaimed musicians, local poets, and lovers of literature for an intimate gathering where language, culture, and creativity take center stage. Hosted by Timothy Williams of Jaxon's Press with special guest Evelyne Whitman, this month's salon explores the rich tradition of French poetry through live readings and authentic French music. The evening features a performance by SonoTriette, a celebrated ensemble dedicated to the timeless songs of France, including: Mimi Pirard – Paris-born vocalist whose expressive performances bring the classic French chanson tradition to life. Jan Martinelli – Veteran Bay Area bassist and pianist whose versatile musicianship spans jazz, folk, and world music. Robert Lunceford – Accomplished accordionist and co-founder of SonoMusette, known for recreating the sound and spirit of the cafés of Paris.
