The Kalamazoo Improv Fest brings three days of top-tier, unscripted comedy to the Crawlspace stage, featuring over 15 of the best local and regional teams. This year, we are thrilled to feature our headliner: Clued In. Straight from Chicago, Clued In is an entirely improvised murder mystery inspired by the works of Agatha Christie, the sharp mind of Sherlock Holmes, and the unfaltering grit of Scooby-Doo. Here is how it works: You (the audience) provide a suggestion and randomly select the detective. From there, the cast builds a gripping, hilarious whodunnit entirely on the spot. The plot is completely made-up, meaning even the performers don’t know who the killer is until the very end. Since opening at Second City’s Beat Lounge in 2016, Clued In has played to sold-out audiences, earning its place as Second City Chicago’s longest-running cabaret show.
