Level 1: Intro to Short Form

Level 1 is for anyone interested in learning the foundations of improv comedy. In 8 weekly sessions, students learn short improvised scenes and games while exploring character, object work and environment. Emphasizing listening, agreement and mutual support, Level 1 teaches valuable skills to performers and non-performers alike. Learn more about Level 1 here. Registration fees due by August 12. This class culminates in a showcase, on Thursday, October 8 at 7 PM, where students demonstrate what they have learned before a supportive audience of family, friends and fellow improvisers. NOTE: Students who miss two or more classes may be ineligible to participate in the Student Showcase and/or move on to Level 2. This class is for adults 18+.
