It’s 120 degrees and 2 a.m. You agreed to take a trip with your friends while taking a trip with your friends. The result? You’re in the backseat of a convertible with three strangers, one of whom may not be real, a trunk full of questionable decisions, and no recollection of your destination. All you know is you’re in the desert meeting God. Naturally, you’re having the time of your f*cking life. WELCOME TO FEAR AND LOATHING IN SMOKE SHOW! But what the hell is Smoke Show? It’s a comedy pageant. Every month, three comedians are put through a series of chaotic games and pageant-style challenges to prove they’re the funniest. The stakes are high, the challenges are questionable, and it all comes down to one very important moment: the crowning of the Smoke Show Superstar. This month, Francesca Fiorentini, Kyle Ayers, and Morgan Miller are competing for the crown, with our resident queen, Jodie Sweetin, presiding over the whole ridiculous affair. And you? You’re the judges. It’s all going down November 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Lyric Hyperion in Silver Lake. Get your tickets at SmokeShowWithSweetin.com . Jodie Sweetin is an actress, author, podcaster, and advocate, best known as Stephanie Tanner on Full House and Fuller House. She cohosts the How Rude, Tanneritos! podcast with Andrea Barber and now focuses on stand-up and live comedy, co-producing this monthly LA show with comedy writers Sabrina and Gia Cognata. Offstage, she's vocal in activism and mental health advocacy, using her platform to support others.. Francesca Fiorentini is a stand-up comedian and journalist who takes on politics, power, and the news cycle’s seemingly endless supply of absolute bullshit. She’s the host of “The Bitchuation Room” podcast, creator of AJ+’s satirical web series “Newsbroke,” and host of MSNBC’s 2019 special “Red, White and Who?” Kyle Ayers is a comedian with tremendous range and a knack for original ideas. His credits include “CONAN,” Comedy Central, and writing for CBS, TBS, and The New York Times. He created “Never Seen It” and “Boast Rattle,” and his solo show “Hard to Say” earned a Best Newcomer nomination at the Edinburgh Fringe before its Off-Broadway run. We can’t wait to see what happens when he steps into the Smoke Show universe. Morgan Miller is an LA-based comedian, writer, actor, and filmmaker whose work has appeared on Netflix, Comedy Central, IFC, and Funny or Die. Her comedy special is set to be released this fall. With an improv background and a recent trip to Burning Man still fresh in her mind, Morgan knows a thing or two about committing to the bit. We expect her to yes-and her way straight into the Smoke Show judges’ hearts. Want more shows and deals? Subscribe to our Newsletter . It’s fun!
